Mission Statement
Through our Support Black Orgs Initiative, The Seattle Medium Newspaper Group is providing a resource to support, build awareness, provide access to resources and increase volunteer support for local, Black-run non-profit organizations that primarily serve the African American community in the Puget Sound region of Washington state.
About
Support Black Orgs is an online volunteer mobilization platform, operated by The Seattle Medium Newspaper, that will promote local, Black non-profits, their programs, volunteer opportunities, and encourage our local community to support their efforts by volunteering their time and/or making donations.
On this platform, community members can search for volunteer opportunities with local non-profit organizations, keep track of their upcoming and past volunteer efforts, make donations and stay up to date with the overall economic impact of their volunteerism.

Each Project has all of the details that you need to get activated. Joining in is super easy and intuitive.
